Interskills Training offers the EST program in Darwin (including Casuarina and Palmerston) and Alice Springs, with courses running frequently.
Employability Skills Training (EST): course information
Employability Skills Training (EST) comprises two courses – you can do one or both:
- Block one focuses on workplace skills and knowledge, developing IT awareness, problem solving and communication skills for the workplace.
- Block two will help you develop your resume and improve interview techniques, focusing in more detail on job preparation and job-hunting skills. Block two also includes Industry Awareness Experiences, giving you an insight into the tasks and duties of industries that excite you.
Eligibility for Employability Skills Training (EST)
You may be eligible for EST if you are:
- Over the age of 15 and
- Participating in Workforce Australia, Digital Servicing, Transition to Work or Disability Employment Services

If you are eligible, you can ask your Employment Services provider to refer you to Interskills Training’s EST services, or if you are a Digital Services participant, you can self-refer online.
