It is fair to say that Interskills is not just a gig for Alison. When she talks about the importance of empowering people she means it. It’s why she loves what she does. The fact that she has been with us since 2010 tells you she is dedicated.

Before shifting to the employment services sector, Alison worked in the highly competitive Real Estate industry. Here she learnt about resilience, (long before the term became fashionable), and from there discovered the many ways that meaningful employment can bring about positive change. These days, Alison finds meaning in her work by focusing on how she can be of service; which is where you benefit.      

After hours, Alison de-frags by going to stand-up comedy. What she loves most about it is the “sense of the ridiculous.” When she isn’t laughing at the human condition, she treasures time with friends and family. Together, these things help her maintain a sense of perspective. This, in turn, is what she brings to the work she does on your behalf.
