Whether it’s a report you need to write for your manager, a spreadsheet of all your products or managing the mountain of emails you need to action, understanding these programs will assist you to manage your workload and achieve the requirements of your role.

Overview

This course is an overview of Microsoft Office software Word, Excel, and Outlook. 

 

Study at your own pace with a variety of training materials - pre-recorded lectures with industry professional trainers, PowerPoints, readings, short quizzes, and practical hands-on Microsoft Training.

 

You are able to purchase one, two or all three of the programs depending on what you need to learn. 

 

Successful participants will receive a nationally accredited Statement of Attainment in BSB30120 Certificate III in Business (Administration).

Job Roles

Although this course does not directly lead to employment, it will assist you in gaining a position in office environments. Some of the occupational titles may include:

  • Administrator

  • Office Assistant

Entry requirements

Students must be digitally literate to an intermediate level.

Students must have access to the below for the duration of their training:

  • Computer/Laptop
  • Microsoft Office Suite (the course is not compatible with versions prior to 2017. The preferred version for this course is Microsoft 365)
  • Internet Access

 

All students will engage in a language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) activity to evaluate potential support requirements.
